you probably wonder what happened to Mashed Potatoes and Stew and have maybe thought they were only a one hit wonder. the truth is more complex.. there was much dispute of what musical direction to take next. one of us wanted to reach out to a broader audience, when the other wanted the band to have even smaller appeal. after a long conflict the band decided on a compromise.. to play softer music, but keep the crappy production and simple melodies! but we have so much respect for the fans that we have changed to band name, so fans who expect oldschool unblack metal, (hopefully) dont get dissapointed when they hear out new sound. The name we choose is Uggabuntu. it is some kind of uggabugga-language (from Africa) and transletes something like "NOT open and including" (the opposite of what Trond Giske is all about). so here we present to you the result of the musical compromise: The Crappy Song.
